Se i nostri corpi sono i vascelli che usiamo per muoverci attraverso le correnti della nostra vita, allora il cuore è il timone, la nostra bussola morale, per navigare tra le crudeltà e le crisi del mondo con compassione e grazia.Come il sole, il cuore dona la sua luce e il suo calore più grandi quando brucia attraverso le nuvole del terrore e della disperazione per irradiare i suoi raggi di speranza e incoraggiamento. Rivelare piuttosto che nascondere i nostri cuori significa mettere a rischio la nostra vulnerabilità invitare alla fioritura della condizione umana.
In questo workshop sei invitato a spezzare la crisalide al centro del tuo petto e a cullare il critico che paralizza la tua creatività.
Creiamo un santuario in cui i tuoi desideri e le tue aspirazioni possano radicarsi, vagare, raggiungere e sorgere. Usando la lente della curiosità, della meraviglia e dello stupore, ci arrendiamo attraverso il movimento, la poesia, l'arte, l'essere testimoni e i rituali per osare i nostri sogni e cantare le nostre anime.

Danzatore e coreografo in compagnie di danza nazionali ed internazionale nel 1994 ha incontrato Gabrielle Roth e, su sua indicazione, nello stesso anno ha iniziato ad insegnare 5Ritmi. Si è poi certificato nel 1998 come insegnante di 5Ritmi, nel 2001 di Soul Motion e nel 2019 di Open Floor. Ha studiato per 15 anni Continuum con Susan Harper e questo ha influenzato molto il suo insegnamento.

SOUL MOTION WORKSHOP with Michael Molin Skelton

I have tried to keep you safe and locked away for too long.

If our bodies are the vessels we use to move through the currents of our lives, then the heart is the rudder, our moral compass, for navigating the cruelties and the crises in the world with compassion and grace. Like the sun, the heart gives its greatest light and warmth when it burns through the clouds of dread and despair to radiate its rays of hope and encouragement. To reveal rather than conceal our hearts is to risk our vulnerability and invites a flowering of the human condition.
In this workshop you are called to crack the chrysalis in the center of your chest and cradle the critic that cripples your creativity. Let’s create a sanctuary where your longings and desires may root, roam, reach, and rise. Using the lens of curiosity, wonder and awe, we surrender ourselves through movement, poetry, art, witnessing and ritual to dare our dreams and sing our souls. If you feel pulled, please join our circle to be held in this sacred gathering of the potent exposing and expanding of our hearts.
Michael listens to prayers in the wind and hears music, looks into the window “pains” of the heart and feels rhythm, touches the world through movement and knows spirit. he invites you to collaborate as we co-create this journey together. michael reaches through dance rather than teaches to dance. he has been dancing since being pushed through the birth canal. after receiving a bachelor of fine arts degree from ucla he performed and choreographed in companies both nationally and internationally for 15 years. he met gabrielle roth early in 1994. later that year, at the request of gabrielle, he began teaching the 5rhythms. michael got his 5rhythms certification in 1998 and teacher certification in soul motion in 2001. he has been a 16 year student of continuum montage with susan harper and his teaching of the 5rhythms and soul motion has been greatly influenced by her mentoring. he is a certified esalen massage practitioner since 1995 and is passionate about the art of touch. He is in the Faculty member of Soul Motion .
